Healthcare Service Internship (HCSI)

The Healthcare Service Internship (HCSI) program offers students a valuable “co-op” opportunity to gain hands-on experience by volunteering at a healthcare facility. Participants undergo a comprehensive course focusing on soft skills essential for professional success. Additionally, they receive necessary vaccinations to ensure safety in the healthcare environment.

Throughout the internship, students dedicate a minimum of 40 hours to volunteering, allowing them to immerse themselves in real-world healthcare settings. Upon completion of the required hours, participants gain access to at least one job-shadowing opportunity, providing further insight into various healthcare roles. The program features a structured weekly curriculum and online assessments to enhance learning and track progress, offering a holistic approach to student development in the healthcare field.
